Jelly Roll’s daughter Bailee Ann has spoken publicly for the first time since news emerged that the country music star had filed for divorce from his wife of nearly 10 years, Bunnie Xo.
In a post shared on TikTok, the 18-year-old expressed frustration over the level of public attention surrounding the family’s personal situation.
“Oh & one more thing I am disgusted at how invested everyone is in a very clearly private family matter,” Bailee Ann wrote.
She continued by calling the interest “fkn crazy” and urged followers to “worry bout your house – not mine". “I’m not speaking on it – yet.”, she concluded.
The comments come weeks after Jelly Roll, whose legal name is Jason DeFord, quietly filed for divorce from Bunnie Xo in Williamson County, Tennessee, on May 18. Court documents cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the separation.
According to the filing, the pair intend to submit an agreement detailing the division of their assets and debts.
The couple married in August 2016 and had frequently shared aspects of their relationship publicly through social media, interviews and podcast appearances.
Speculation about the split intensified earlier this month when Jelly Roll appeared at CMA Fest in Nashville without his wedding ring. Similar appearances in recent social media posts also prompted discussion among fans.
Meanwhile, Bunnie Xo has shared several cryptic posts online in recent weeks, including messages referencing “women’s intuition”, former relationships and “getting her sparkle back”.
Bailee Ann, who is one of Jelly Roll’s two children from previous relationships, has maintained a close relationship with her father.
Last month, the singer publicly celebrated her 18th birthday and high school graduation, praising her achievements and future ambitions in an emotional social media tribute.
