Quetta wall collapse kills two brothers
Two young brothers lost their lives while a third was critically injured when a wall suddenly collapsed on them in the Khaliq Shaheed area along Link Road in Quetta on late Sunday night.
The victims have been identified as 15-year-old Zubair son of Khuda Nazar and his 10-year-old brother Talha, both from the Barich tribe and residents of Muhammad Shahi Town. Their younger brother, who was also playing with them, sustained serious injuries and is in critical condition.
According to eyewitnesses, the three brothers were playing in the area when a large section of the wall came crashing down on them without warning. Local residents immediately rushed to the scene and pulled the children out from under the debris. Tragically, Zubair and Talha were declared dead on the spot, while the third brother was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
SSP Saryab confirmed the incident, stating that two children died and one was injured in the wall collapse. Station House Officer (SHO) Ijaz Mahmood verified the identities of the victims and confirmed that all three were brothers.
