Family blames driver in Murree crash

MURREE:

The tragic accident in the Khajat area of the Murree Expressway involving tourists from Multan has taken a new turn after statements from the affected family member, Kashif, sparked fresh debate on social media.

Kashif, who lost 10 members of his family in the incident, including his mother, wife, and five children, alleged that the accident occurred after an argument broke out between children in the vehicle and the driver over loud music.

According to him, the children had asked the driver to turn off loud songs during the journey, which led to a heated exchange between them. He further claimed that, in a fit of anger after the altercation, the driver allegedly crashed the vehicle into a wall, resulting in the devastating accident.

His statement has triggered widespread discussion online, raising several questions about the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.

It is worth noting that in the horrific accident on the Murree Expressway, 10 members of the same family were killed while 13 others were injured. Authorities are investigating the incident from multiple angles.

The affected family has demanded a complete and transparent investigation to establish the facts and determine responsibility.
