Six 'criminals' killed in separate encounters
Six alleged criminals were killed in separate police encounters across Faisalabad, while a police head constable and five suspects sustained injuries and were shifted to hospital.
Police have taken custody of the bodies and initiated legal proceedings.
The incidents occurred in multiple jurisdictions during operations against wanted criminals involved in robbery, drug trafficking, and other serious offences.
Police said three alleged robbers were killed in a shootout in Chak 224 RB area after fleeing a robbery incident in Ahmed Din Wali locality of Sadar police station.
The encounter involved SHOs of Sadar, Batala Colony, and D-Type Colony police stations. The deceased were identified as Bilal son of Akram (Islam Pura Gojra), Rafaqat alias Sanwal son of Mushtaq Masih (431 GB Gojra), and Ali Raza son of Riaz (263 RB Dijkot).
