Rs2.4 billion allocated for law ministry

The government has allocated a total of Rs2,403 million for the Ministry of Law and Justice under the PSDP 2026-27 for ongoing and new schemes, according to official documents.
Of the total allocation, Rs1,380 million has been earmarked for ongoing projects, while Rs1,023 million has been set aside for new schemes.
Under ongoing development initiatives, Rs200 million has been allocated for the construction of the Federal Courts/Tribunals Complex in Karachi. The Legal Facilitation Centre at the Islamabad High Court has been allocated Rs 228.306 million, while Rs261.8 million has been earmarked for the Litigants Facilitation Centre for District Courts in Islamabad.
The construction of the administrative block of the Supreme Court Branch Registry in Quetta has received Rs226.7 million, while Rs290.5 million has been allocated for the expansion of the Supreme Court Branch Registry in Karachi.
