LAHORE:

The facility of free travel in public transport, including Orange Line Train, Metro and Speedo bus services in Lahore and other cities has been abolished.

According to Punjab Mass Transit Authority (PMA) sources, the government has decided to withdraw the free travel relief.

The government had provided the free travel facility to provide relief to citizens due to the increase in prices of petroleum products.

According to the authorities, this facility was given on a temporary basis, after which public transport will be operated as per the normal fares.
