Driver in deadly van tragedy arrested
Case registered under sections relating to causing death by negligence, speeding

Police have arrested the driver of a passenger van who fled the scene after a tragic fire incident on Murree Expressway that claimed the lives of 10 passengers.
According to sources, the driver, who escaped after the accident, was taken into custody and shifted to Murree Police Station. Initial investigations identified negligence, reckless driving and speeding as the primary causes of the incident.
Police said a case had been registered at Murree Police Station on the complaint of a Motorway Police inspector under sections relating to causing death by negligence, speeding and other relevant offences.
