Pokimane comments on Sykkuno return to Twitch after controversy

Twitch streamer Sykkuno has returned to live streaming after nearly two months away, with his comeback broadcast drawing renewed attention to earlier controversy and prompting reactions from fellow creator Pokimane.

Sykkuno went live on June 3 2026 in a two-and-a-half-hour stream titled “I’M BACK”, marking his first broadcast since stepping away from the platform following allegations that surfaced earlier in the year.

During the stream, he addressed his absence, the state of his personal relationships, and the events that led to his break from content creation.

The streamer acknowledged previous wrongdoing, stating, “What I did to her was horrible,” adding, “For a lot of people, they could never forgive that. I regret doing it so much. In the time I’ve been gone, I’ve been working every single day to try to make things better.”

Following the broadcast, commentary circulated across social media, including remarks from Pokimane referencing Sykkuno’s return after his time away. 

Some users framed her response as humour or general commentary on streaming culture, while others criticised her for "making this about herself", calling her "cringe".
