Disciplinary action has been taken against a doctor for allegedly uploading objectionable content on social media, with Nishtar Hospital Multan terminating the house job of Dr Ali Osama.
A spokesperson for the Department of Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education, no healthcare professional is permitted to post objectionable material on social media platforms, as it violates professional ethics and government regulations.
Dr Ali Osama was serving as a paid house officer at Nishtar Hospital Multan when he allegedly uploaded objectionable content on his social media account.
