Citizen found owning 421 vehicles
Verification also reveals that over Rs2.088 million in e-challans is pending against the registered vehicles

Traffic police have found over 400 vehicles registered under a citizen's name.
The matter was revealed after officials stopped a motorcyclist for verification of ownership documents. The inspection led to the discovery that Baz Muhammad was registered as the owner of 421 motorcycles, rickshaws and other vehicles.
The official system flagged the unusually high number of registrations linked to the same individual, prompting scrutiny by traffic authorities.
The verification also revealed that over Rs2.088 million in e-challans was pending against the registered vehicles.
The personnel impounded the motorbike and shifted it to Muslim Town police station for further investigation.
Lahore Chief Traffic Officer Syed Abdul Raheem Shirazi had ordered intensified action against e-challan defaulters and suspicious or potentially fake vehicle registrations across the city.
Traffic officials added that an investigation was under way to determine whether the registrations were linked to fraudulent activities.
