Injured migratory flamingo rescued
Transferred to wildlife park with veterinary treatment initiated

Wildlife Rangers have rescued a rare migratory flamingo found injured in a suburban area of Chichawatni and shifted it to Joharabad Wildlife Park for treatment and rehabilitation. A spokesperson said that following information that the injured bird was being kept by local residents near a canal, a rescue team took into custody the rare migratory flamingo, which was unable to fly due to an injured leg.
It was immediately transferred to the wildlife park and veterinary treatment initiated. Joharabad Wildlife Park In-charge Fareeha Batool said the flamingo would remain under care until its full recovery.
