Facilitation desk planned for transporters
Sharjeel says desk would enable operators arriving in city to obtain, renew route permits, fitness certificates

The Sindh government has decided to establish a dedicated one-window facilitation desk at New Sabzi Mandi to provide streamlined services to transporters. The Transport and Mass Transit Department has issued directives to the relevant authorities for the immediate implementation of the initiative.
The decision was approved during an important meeting of the transport department, where officials agreed to set up a facilitation desk aimed at providing all essential services to transporters under one roof.
Senior Sindh Minister and Provincial Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transit, Sharjeel Inam Memon, said that the one-window facilitation desk at New Sabzi Mandi would enable freight and commercial vehicle operators arriving in Karachi to obtain and renew route permits, fitness certificates, and other necessary documents at a single location.
