ISLAMABAD:

Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Monday underscored the importance of developing a competitive, innovative and sustainable automotive ecosystem.

He stressed that such a system could support economic growth, enhance industrial capacity, generate skilled jobs and advance environmental sustainability through a future-ready automotive sector.

Dar chaired a high-level meeting to review the auto and auto parts policy, with a particular focus on accelerating Pakistan’s transition towards Electric Vehicles (EVs), the Office of the DPM said in a statement.
