NA panel calls for fiscal prudence, transparency

ISLAMABAD:

The National Assembly Standing Committee on Planning, Development and Special Initiatives on Monday stressed the need for fiscal prudence and enhanced transparency in national development planning.

The committee thoroughly debated matters relating to ongoing and proposed infrastructure projects in various regions of the country, including the status of the bridge project between Peer Mahal and Mian Channu, according to a statement.

The committee members highlighted the importance of ensuring the timely completion of approved schemes and keeping local communities informed about project progress and expected completion schedules.
