Teen labourer dies of electric shock

LAHORE:

An 18-year-old labourer died after suffering an electric shock while working at a construction site in Manga Mandi.

According to Rescue 1122, the incident occurred at an under-construction building where the victim came into contact with a live high-voltage wire during work.

Officials said an iron rod being used by the worker accidentally touched the 11kV power line, resulting in a severe electric shock.
