Crossing waters: 15 Indian fishermen arrested

The Pakistan Maritime Security Agency arrested 15 Indian fishermen and seized six boats.

KARACHI: The Pakistan Maritime Security Agency arrested 15 Indian fishermen and seized six boats on Sunday. According to a press release, a routine patrol found more than a hundred Indian boats fishing illegally inside the limits of Pakistani waters. The agency warned the fishermen, and arrested 15 of them. Civil society has been urging the two countries to release these prisoners who are repeatedly picked up in the wrong waters.
