10 more agri malls planned
.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said on Saturday that the province had entered the era of "one-stop agriculture input markets", under which farmers are being provided all essential services under one roof near their villages.
According to an official statement, four Model Agriculture Malls have been established, while the chief minister has directed authorities to take immediate steps for setting up similar facilities in 10 more districts.
The malls in Multan, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal and Sargodha are operational, offering agricultural inputs, consultation with experts and a range of other services for farmers.
Farmers will also be able to rent modern machinery from the malls.
The facilities are being managed in collaboration with the private sector.
Model Agriculture Malls would also be established in Faisalabad, Jhang, Okara, Khanewal, Rajanpur, Vehari, Rahim Yar Khan, Attock and Mianwali.
The chief minister said the malls would be established in all districts to enhance access to modern agricultural services and strengthen support for the farming community.
