Four die of electrocution

BAHAWALPUR:

At least four people lost their lives as they suffered electric shocks while fixing a turbine in Chak 88 Nawab Wali.

Rescue 1122 officials said six people were affected by an electric shock while operating a motor inside a turbine room adjacent to a sewage disposal facility near Yazman.

Upon receiving the emergency call, Rescue 1122 Bahawalpur teams immediately reached the scene and launched a rescue operation, rescuers said, adding that three of the victims were transported by local residents, while one victim was shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Yazman by a Rescue ambulance.
