The COMSATS University Islamabad, Abbottabad campus (CUI) is presently housed on a leased premises at Tobe Camp, which is owned by the Pakistan Army. The permanent campus currently under development, where the 6,000 enrolled students are to be transferred, faces shutdown due to lack of government funds.

The lease of the Tobe Camp campus was extended in 2001 for a period of 30 years before the original lease expired in the year 2003.

Then in May 2020, the CUI submitted a PC-I titled "Infrastructure Development of COMSATS University Islamabad Permanent Campus, Abbottabad".

The project proposed a modern academic facility, built upon an area of 324,540 sq ft, for the 6,000 students currently studying at the CUI Abbottabad Campus.

The PC-I was approved at a cost of Rs3,485.795 million by the CDWP in its meeting held on May 24, 2021. However, the project awaits inclusion in the PSDP share of MoST to this date.

The majority of the new campus' infrastructure work is pending due to lack of funding.

Their missile technology needs to be adopted to defeat challenges. Manufacturing of Drones missiles Defence system should be kept on priority. Without Defence system we are blind.
