Cop martyred in grenade attack
Funeral prayer held with full honors with senior officers, army personnel in attendance
PESHAWAR:
Police Constable Muhammad Zahir, who was critically injured in a hand grenade attack on the Se-ra Khawra check post of Matani Police Station on February 27 succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at a hospital on Thursday.
The funeral prayer for the martyred constable was held with full official honors at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines in Peshawar.
A large number of senior officers, including CCPO Peshawar Dr Mian Saeed, SSP Operations Farhan Khan, SP Headquarters Ali Gohar, and other Divisional SPs, along with army personnel, police officers, and the martyr's family members, attended the ceremony.
