Charli D’Amelio has reportedly left Be Happy Snacks as family financial tensions and manipulation claims surface

Charli D’Amelio has reportedly stepped away from her family’s business ventures, including Be Happy Snacks, amid ongoing reports of tension within the D’Amelio family regarding financial management and business control.

Sources claimed the 22-year-old social media personality formally ended her involvement with Be Happy Snacks, a popcorn company founded by the D’Amelio family in 2023.

The brand remains listed with the family’s image on its website, which describes the business as being built on the D’Amelio family’s shared creative interests and focus on producing snack products aimed at a younger audience.

Reports suggest Charli’s separation from the company began in March 2025 and was finalised in November of the same year.

The arrangement was described as an “amicable separation” from D’Amelio Brands and D’Amelio Family LLC, agreed upon by all parties at the time.

While Charli has stepped back, her parents Marc D’Amelio and Heidi D’Amelio, along with her sister Dixie D’Amelio, are reportedly still involved in the business.

Her exit is said to have been negotiated by her legal and business representative, who initially worked with the wider family before transitioning to represent Charli exclusively.

The development comes amid ongoing public discussion about the family’s financial dealings. A gossip account previously claimed that Charli had discovered “millions of dollars had been transferred out of accounts that were established during the years her career was managed by her parents.”

These claims were denied by Marc D’Amelio, who stated, “No one called me for an interview. This is not true. We love Charli but she is being manipulated and I have the receipts.”

Marc D’Amelio also said the family had consistently worked with professional financial teams. Separately, reports noted that Marc suggested in a livestream that communication within the family had broken down and repeated concerns about outside influence.

Charli has not directly addressed the latest claims but previously posted a message on social media referencing emotional distress, which fans widely discussed online.
