Four CDA officers suspended over misconduct

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has suspended four senior officers, including a grade-19 officer, on charges of misconduct and dereliction of professional duties.
The suspensions followed Regulation 8.05 of CDA Employees (Service) Regulations, 1992.
Sources said Habib Ullah Sheikh, who is a grade-19 officer and was working as Director General Infrastructure in his own pay and scale (OPS), has been suspended on charges of inefficiency and misconduct.
Grade-18 officer Naqeebullah, who was serving as Deputy Director Market and Roads Maintenance (North), was suspended for misconduct and failure to discharge his official responsibilities.
Similarly, Grade-18 officer Mudassir Pervaiz, who was serving as Director Market and Road Maintenance in OPS, was suspended with immediate effect over poor performance and negligence in the discharge of duties.
Another grade-18 officer, Abid Farooq, who was serving as Deputy Director (Procurement and Contracts Agreements-I), was also suspended for failing to fulfil official responsibilities, negligence of duty and unsatisfactory performance.
