Pakistan’s most popular TikToker, Jannat Mirza, faced criticism on social media after an Eidul Azha video showed her posing to music while packing sacrificial meat into bags.
Jannat shared the video on her TikTok and Instagram accounts, where she was seen sitting cross-legged on the floor, packaging raw meat for distribution.
Dressed in a black T-shirt and sweatpants, she also wore heavy gold bangles. In the clip, background music played as she packed the meat, occasionally adjusted her hair, and posed for the camera.
Others joked about finding strands of hair in the packaged meat, while some accused influencers of doing anything for views. Several users also questioned the practicality of wearing bangles during the task.
Jannat appeared unbothered by the criticism and later shared additional photos on Instagram posing with the sacrificial meat.
She first gained popularity through short-form videos featuring desi music while living in Japan and has also appeared in films including Tere Bajrey Di Rakhi.
