Man tortured, shaved in revenge attack

A man was allegedly tied to a tree, tortured, his head shaved and forced to hold shoes in a humiliating act over a minor grudge, prompting police to register a case against six suspects.

Three accused have been arrested while raids are underway to arrest the remaining suspects.

Police said the incident came to light after a video of the accused went viral on social media, prompting senior officers to take notice and seek a detailed report from the DSP Sadar.

According to the police report, a case was registered at Airport Police Station on the complaint of Usman Latif, a resident of 66 JB. He stated that his brother Rizwan was targeted in a pre-planned act of revenge over a minor verbal dispute.

The complainant alleged that the suspects including Mushtaq, Irfan and Shahid Ali along with three others intercepted Rizwan while he was on his way to work.
