Eid sparks surge in sale of BBQ essentials

With Eidul Azha approaching, residents of the capital are busy preparing for the traditional barbecues that have become a hallmark of the festive celebrations. Markets across the city, including Aabpara Market and G-9 Markaz, are witnessing a surge in demand for barbecue-related items such as coal, burners, skewers and knives.

Shopkeepers report a significant increase in sales as the festival draws nearer. Zaheer, a vendor at Aabpara Market, told media that demand for BBQ burners and accessories nearly doubles in the days leading up to Eid.
