PMD predicts hot, dry weather across country

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected over most parts of the country during the next 24 hours, while central and southern regions are likely to remain very hot.

Rain-windstorms and thunderstorms are expected at isolated places in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas.

Temperatures recorded in major cities during morning were Islamabad 23°C, Lahore and Karachi 29°C, Peshawar 27°C, Quetta 19°C, Muzaffarabad 21°C, and Gilgit and Murree 14°C.

According to the weather forecast for IIOJK, partly cloudy and dry weather is expected in Srinagar.
