Taylor Swift accidentally sparked laughs among fans after an awkward but lighthearted moment while leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers’ NBA Eastern Conference Finals game with fiancé Travis Kelce.
The couple were walking hand in hand through the arena hallways after game three between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the New York Knicks at Rocket Arena in Cleveland on May 23 when Swift greeted fans by saying, “Thanks for coming!”

The unexpected comment quickly caught attention online, with fans joking that “her worked script kicked in” and dubbing the singer “Tayhost”, suggesting she instinctively slipped into a rehearsed response more suited to a concert than a post-game exit.
Despite the brief awkwardness, fans largely viewed the moment as funny and relatable.

Swift attended the game in a Stella McCartney patchwork denim bomber jacket paired with a ribbed wool-blend tank, faded wide-leg denim jeans and patent buckle-heeled sandals. She completed the look with a Dior Cigale bag and several diamond accessories, including her engagement ring.
Kelce, also, opted for jeans, a white T-shirt, a short-sleeved denim shirt and a backwards Cavaliers cap in support of his hometown team.
The couple were seen chatting and smiling courtside throughout the game, while videos shared on social media showed fans cheering as they arrived at the arena before tip-off.
Swift and Kelce, who have been linked since 2023, announced their engagement in August 2025 and are reportedly getting married in July.
