BTS member Suga has become the subject of online discussion after footage from a recent marathon appearance circulated widely across social media platforms.

The rapper had previously been mentioned by fellow BTS members, who revealed that he completed a 12km marathon run on the morning of the group’s Stanford concert.

Fans initially reacted with amusement after learning about the unexpected marathon participation, with many also noting that photos and videos from the event were not publicly shared until BTS members referenced the experience themselves.

As additional clips from the run began appearing online, one particular video drew significant attention and criticism.

The brief interaction quickly spread on X, formerly known as Twitter, where some users interpreted the moment as an attempt by Suga to move ahead in the queue before being corrected by other runners.

These interpretations led to mocking comments and criticism directed at the BTS member across social media platforms.

However, fans defended Suga and argued that the clip lacked context. Supporters claimed the short video was being circulated selectively in order to encourage negative reactions online.

Some fans also pointed out that the full circumstances surrounding the interaction remain unclear.
