New details surrounding the sudden death of Kyle Busch are painting a heartbreaking picture of the NASCAR legend’s final hours before he died at 41.

According to newly released 911 audio, emergency responders were called to a training facility in Concord, North Carolina, after Busch reportedly experienced severe breathing problems and began coughing up blood while preparing for this weekend’s Coca-Cola 600 race.

The emergency call reportedly described Busch as overheated, struggling to breathe, and feeling like he was about to pass out while lying on the bathroom floor waiting for paramedics to arrive.
