Meat, waste dumping around airports banned

LAHORE:

The Punjab government has banned pigeon flying, laser lights and the dumping of animal waste or meat within a 13-kilometre radius of airports and airbases.

The ban has been imposed under Section 144 across the province to ensure the security of Pakistan Air Force airbases and commercial airports.

According to a spokesperson for the Punjab Home Department, the restrictions will remain in force for 30 days and will apply to the surroundings of all airbases and airports across the province.
