Railways intensifies land retrieval drive
Pakistan Railways has set a target of retrieving railway land worth Rs10 billion for the current year, 40% of the target had already been achieved.
This was revealed by Inspector General Railway Police Muhammad Wisal Fakhar Sultan during during a visit to the Mughalpura Workshops Division, where he reviewed administrative, security and operational arrangements in detail.
The IG visited the SP Office, Railway Police Station Workshops and Nisar Railway Police Lines and assessed performance across various branches.
Upon arrival, SP Workshops Syed Abrar Abbas briefed the IG on ongoing security measures, railway land retrieval operations.
