Monitoring of hospital hygiene

Sindh Health Minister Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho has announced formation of special monitoring committees to inspect hygiene conditions and implementation of hygiene and infection control SOPs in hospitals.

Addressing an awareness session on hygiene and infection control in Hyderabad on Tuesday, the minister said the committees would monitor cleanliness, hospital waste management, sanitization, washrooms, and staff hygiene standards.
