Fans defend veteran actors against criticism, with one user writing 'may we all find love like this'

Veteran actors Manzar Sehbai and Samina Ahmed gained online attention after sharing a picture of themselves lying together with their cat. The couple, both 70 at the time, tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in April 2020, defying societal expectations and proving that love knows no age.

“May we all find a man who loves, cares, respects, and values us till this age", one user said, reacting to the image.

Others sent prayers and well wishes for the couple.

Many also came to the couple’s defense against those criticising the picture.

The couple has not shied away from sharing heartfelt moments. In June 2020, Sehbai posted a similar picture of the two embracing, captioning it “MY SOULMATE”.
