In a recent interview alongside Mamya Shajaffar while promoting their upcoming film Luv Di Saun, actor and singer Farhan Saeed spoke openly about what he believes makes a relationship last, sharing his thoughts on love, marriage and how relationships evolve over time.
Discussing the evolution of love, Farhan said that the excitement people feel at the beginning of a relationship is important, but highlighted that it does not stay the same forever. This, he said, was completely normal.
According to Farhan, many people expect love to feel intense and exciting, but real relationships do not work that way. He said that with time, love changes into something deeper and more meaningful.
For him, that next stage of love is built on comfort, trust and friendship.
Farhan added that when two people spend years together, their bond naturally becomes calmer. Instead of constant excitement, they begin to value peace, understanding and emotional safety. He added that he believes being able to sit with your partner in silence, feel comfortable around them, and genuinely enjoy their presence, is what makes a marriage stronger.
The singer and actor also pointed out that this change should not be seen as love fading away. Instead, in his view, it is actually a sign that the relationship is growing.
Discussing the balance between love and ambition, Farhan noted that the two can exist together, with emotional support from a partner making personal and professional goals feel more meaningful.
Farhan's message was simple: love does not disappear with time, it evolves - and according to him, it is exactly that evolution that helps a marriage last.
The singer and actor is currently gearing up for the Eidul Azha release of Luv Di Saun. The film promises a mix of romance, action, and drama, with Farhan taking on a more intense, action-heavy role.
