PESHAWAR:

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has said the province is confronting serious wheat supply issues and has expressed readiness to engage with the Sindh government for wheat shipments, provided Punjab grants passage.

Speaking at the "Baniyan-e-Marsous and Stability of Pakistan Conference" held at the Governor's House in Peshawar, the Governor emphasised that "Baniyan-e-Marsous" symbolises iron-clad unity, discipline, and national strength. He stressed that Pakistan currently needs unity and national solidarity more than ever.

"Stability in Pakistan is not linked to military power alone; it is equally dependent on political and economic stability," he said.

The conference was attended by religious scholars, political and social leaders from across the country.
