Faisalabad to establish Eid cattle sale points

The district administration has decided to establish temporary sale points for sacrificial animals across Faisalabad 10 days before Eidul Adha and sought contingency plans from all relevant departments.

The decision was taken during a meeting chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Anwar Ali to finalise arrangements for cattle markets ahead of Eid.

Officials said facilities including shade, drinking water, parking and security arrangements would be ensured at the sale points to facilitate buyers and sellers.

The ADCG directed the Livestock Department to make arrangements for vaccination of animals against tick attacks and instructed all concerned departments to submit contingency plans by May 14.

He said maintaining cleanliness and providing a safe environment at cattle markets would remain a top priority.
