PTI's Qaiser moves IHC to quash multiple FIRs

ISLAMABAD:

PTI leader Asad Qaiser has approached the Islamabad High Court (IHC) seeking the dismissal of multiple FIRs registered against him in Islamabad and various polsice stations across Punjab.

According to the petition filed before IHC, a total of 19 cases have been registered against the petitioner on similar charges.

The petitioner has requested the court to declare the registration of multiple cases based on a single political incident as unconstitutional and illegal.

He has sought directions to consolidate all cases into a single representative FIR and to conduct a transparent inquiry.
