CJP reaffirms gender justice commitment

Federal Ombudsperson for Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Fouzia Viqar called on Chief Justice Yahya Afridi at the Supreme Court on Monday.
During the meeting, the Ombudsperson briefed the top judge on the role and mandate of her office in ensuring safer and more inclusive working environments in both public and private sector institutions.
The chief justice reiterated the judiciary's commitment to the constitutional values of equality, dignity and non-discrimination, emphasizing the importance of safe, respectful and inclusive professional environments within institutions.
