The National Assembly (NA) on Monday passed a unanimous resolution expressing a deep sense of national pride and highlighting the unmatched professionalism, vigilance, extraordinary preparedness and resolute response demonstrated by the armed forces on May 10, 2025, in the face of unprovoked and unwarranted Indian aggression.

The resolution moved by Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar deplored that in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terrorist incident on April 22, 2025, in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), a "malicious campaign" was immediately orchestrated by India and amplified by its state-sponsored media to baselessly implicate Pakistan without any evidence or investigation, even though the incident was categorically condemned by the government.

It stated that the house condemned that, despite a sincere and generous offer by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to participate in any neutral, transparent and credible investigation into what was described as a false-flag operation, India proceeded to launch an unprovoked airstrike on Pakistan on May 6, 2025, targeting innocent civilians.
