Governor, CM pay tribute to mothers

KARACHI:

Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah paid heartfelt tribute to mothers on the occasion of Mother's Day, describing a mother's love, prayers, and sacrifices as the greatest treasure in a person's life.

In their separate messages issued on Sunday, the leaders also honoured the mothers who raised brave sons that sacrificed their lives for the nation in the battle for truth.

They said that mothers hold the highest status in society, adding that paradise lies beneath their feet and their prayers serve as the foundation of their children's success.

The governor and chief minister emphasised that serving and respecting mothers is a vital part of religious and social values. They said a mother's upbringing teaches generations the principles of love, peace, and progress.
