President, PM pay tribute to armed forces on Marka-e-Haq first anniversary

Says people in uniform and without stood united, showing courage, resilience, national resolve

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have marked the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, describing it as a defining moment of national resolve, unity, and resilience, while paying tribute to the armed forces and reiterating Pakistan’s commitment to sovereignty, regional stability, and peace, Radio Pakistan reported.

The term “Marka-e-Haq” refers to the 2025 conflict with India, which began with the April 22 Pahalgam attack and concluded with a ceasefire on May 10 following Operation Bunyanum Marsoos.
