Transparency, accountability vital, says Dar

ISLAMABAD:

DPM/FM Ishaq Dar on Saturday stressed that transparency, accountability, reforms and strong financial governance are essential for sustainable economic growth while addressing the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) Conference in Lahore on Saturday.

According to a post on X, Dar "congratulated ICMA Pakistan on completing 75 years of service in advancing the accounting and finance profession and contributing to institutional development in the country".

In his address, he said transparency, accountability and robust financial governance were critical for investor confidence, economic resilience.
