Islamabad airport braces for flight disruptions
Flight operations at Islamabad International Airport may face temporary disruptions over three days due to operational reasons, the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) said on Friday, advising incoming aircraft to carry additional holding fuel to account for possible delays.
In a notice to airmen (Notam), the PAA said arrivals and departures at the federal capital's airport could be delayed during specific time windows between May 8 and May 10 owing to "operational reasons".
According to the advisory, delays may occur between 10:45am and 12:15pm on May 8, and between 8pm and 9:15pm on May 9 and May 10.
