Two drown while bathing in different areas

Police from relevant stations are conducting further investigations into incidents

KARACHI:

Two people lost their lives in separate drowning incidents while bathing at different locations in the city, rescue officials confirmed.

In one incident, a teenage boy drowned while bathing in a canal in Manghopir area. Rescue teams reached the scene, recovered the body and shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. The deceased could not be identified immediately.

In another incident, a man drowned while bathing at Hub Dam. Rescue team responded promptly and retrieved the body, which was also taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. The deceased was later identified as 30-year-old Ali Haider.

Police from the relevant stations are conducting further investigations into both incidents.
