The event took place during the 2026 Netflix Is a Joke Festival at the Hollywood Bowl, where Wyle appeared in full medical attire complete with scrubs and a stethoscope as part of Jon Stewart’s annual “Night of Too Many Stars” fundraiser benefiting NEXT for Autism.
During the live segment, audience members bid for the chance to join Wyle onstage for mock examinations performed in character as Dr Robby. According to reports from the event, the bit ultimately raised around $36,000 through the charity auction.
