Three women murdered

Three women were killed in separate incidents. In Burewala, 28-year-old Sanam Kausar was allegedly shot dead by her husband, Asghar Ali, reportedly over 'honour'.

According to investigators, he stated that he had suspected his wife, which often led to domestic disputes. In another incident, 65-year-old Azra Nasreen was found dead in her home. Unidentified persons allegedly struck her on the head with a sharp object during night.

Meanwhile, 32-year-old Rukhsana Bibi,, who had contracted marriage of her choice, died under mysterious circumstances. Her family alleged that she had been poisoned by her husband.
