Ejaz Chaudhry shifted to hospital care

LAHORE:

Former senator Ejaz Chaudhry was shifted to Services Hospital after his health deteriorated in jail, prompting doctors to advise his immediate transfer for medical treatment, sources said on Tuesday.

Prison authorities moved Chaudhry to the hospital on medical advice.

He has previously been brought to the hospital multiple times for medical examinations. He had earlier remained under medical supervision due to an eye infection, as well as heart and blood pressure complications.

He was transferred to the hospital, where a team of doctors has initiated a comprehensive medical examination.
