After five years and 20 IVF rounds, Erin Holland announces pregnancy
On a recent podcast, Holland announces her pregnancy and reflects on her journey through IVF and loss

Erin Holland has opened up about her long road to motherhood, revealing she is expecting her first child with husband Ben Cutting after years of fertility struggles.
Appearing on a recent podcast, Holland shared that her pregnancy follows nearly five years of treatment, including around 20 rounds of IVF, four miscarriages, and an ectopic pregnancy. Describing the journey as physically and emotionally demanding, she said the setbacks often made it difficult to hold on to hope.
The model and television presenter, a familiar face to cricket audiences through her work on the Pakistan Super League broadcast, detailed the extent of the process. It involved five egg collections, seven embryo transfers, and thousands of injections before reaching this stage.
Holland also spoke about the financial strain of treatment, estimating the cost at around $150,000, comparable, she said, to a house deposit. “It’s worth every penny if it works out, but so often it doesn’t,” she noted.
While she is thrilled to be expecting, the 37-year-old admitted the experience has left her cautious. After years of disappointment, she said it has been hard to fully embrace the moment. “It still kind of feels like I haven’t gotten into the club yet,” she shared.
She added that the uncertainty of what lies ahead has been overwhelming at times, describing parenthood as a “Pandora’s box” she is still trying to process. Holland said she struggled to feel connected to the pregnancy in its early weeks, only beginning to relax after the 14-week scan.
Now past the halfway mark, she said things are starting to feel more real. After her 20-week scan and feeling the baby move, Holland described a shift in her outlook. The experience, she said, has begun to feel less daunting and more tangible, a moment she now sees as nothing short of extraordinary after everything it took to get there.
