Police claimed on Sunday to have arrested an 18-year-old man for allegedly assaulting a four-year-old child in the Ratta Amral police limits.
The incident came to light when the child returned home crying and narrated the ordeal to his father, who immediately approached the police. An FIR was registered.
The father told police that he was asleep at home when his son entered the house crying, saying he had been playing in the street when their neighbour, identified as Hamza, invited him to his house to play games on a laptop.
The child alleged that the accused assaulted him.
