Two CCD impersonators held

LAHORE:

Ghaziabad police arrested two men for allegedly impersonating officials of the Crime Control Department (CCD) and stopping citizens under the pretext of checking them. The suspects, Ammar and Zain, were apprehended near Tajpura Scheme while intercepting passers-by.

Police said they attempted to mislead officers when asked for identification but failed to provide valid credentials and were taken into custody. The police said strict action would be taken against individuals impersonating law enforcement officials and harassing citizens.
